09 Dec Scratchboard Art with Kathy Paulus 12-17-24
Redlands Art Association hosts free PROGRAMS: guest artists to educate / entertain us on the 4th Tuesday night of each month, September through May.
This month we’re pleased to have accomplished artist, Kathy Paulus, teach us scratchboard art…for adults!
Paulus says, “In my demonstration you will have an overview of the basics of scratchboarding using Ampersand Scratchboards. You will be introduced to a variety of tools to create different scratches, techniques, and resources to this exciting medium.” She continues, “I love the challenge of creating highly detailed work in whatever medium I choose.” You will have the opportunity to create your own 3” x 5” scratchboard.
Paulus is a member of the International Society of Scratchboard Artists, Yucaipa Vision Quest Art Association, and Redlands Art Association.
Join us Tuesday, Dec 17 from 7 – 9 pm. No charge; open to the public.
The program will be held at the downtown Redlands Art Association, 215 E. State St, Redlands.
