Kathy Paulus Wins 3rd Place in Active Division, Int. Society of Scratchboard Artists

Congratulations again to Kathy Paulus for her award winning scratchboard drawing of ‘Curious Gaia’. 2025 Online Exhibition, 3rd place in Active Division, International Society of Scratchboard Artists.

Kathy Paulus is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning, self-taught artist based in Moreno Valley, California, USA. She works mainly in pastel and scratchboard and enjoys realism and the challenge to capture the real beauty in animals.

She has a special love for horses and all cats, both wild and domestic. She has done many commissioned animal portraits and enjoys the joy it brings to a devoted pet owner. 

She is an active member in the Redlands art Association in Southern California and is currently teaching a Beginners Scratchboard Workshop a couple times a year.
