14 Apr June Workshop: Painting with Glass & Fire – Adeola Davies-Aiyeloja
It is time to paint with fire! Enameling is the art of fusing glass to a support, usually copper or silver. The workshop will cover preparation, sifting and masking techniques, firing and finishing You will also work with LIQUID enamels to give your composition a more painterly effect. Please be advised there will be a $20 materials fee paid to the instructor. Instructor will supply the following tools and materials: 2 copper plates, transparent and opaque enamels, liquid enamels, sifting tools, firing toolw and kiln.
