Opening Reception: Saturday, June 10, 1-4pm

One of Redlands’ best known artists, Janet Edwards, celebrated her 90^th birthday this past January. Janet’s long and prolific career here in Redlands spanned many decades and focused on capturing the beauty that surrounds us: Redlands’ iconic buildings, its orange groves and palms, the University and the mountains that form a backdrop to our beautiful valley. After she lost her husband of 67 years, Fred Edwards, this past year, Janet closed her studio and moved to an assisted living community in nearby Highland.

Janet’s work will be featured in one final show at the Redlands Art Association. The show features Janet’s remaining collection of artists’ proofs and other prints which she has retained over the years. Janet will be available to greet gallery visitors and to sign copies of her book, Palms to Peaks, at the opening reception on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.  Janet looks forward to seeing her many friends at this final show of her work.
