23 Jul Excellence in Art awards by MCAEEF
Suzanne Burke, committee chair says, “The Margaret Clark Art Education Enrichment Fund committee takes its responsibilities very seriously: providing and enhancing art education in Redlands and surrounding communities. There’s not a school in this area that hasn’t received grants from MCAEEF to enhance their art projects!” She continues, “Usually the Excellence in Arts monetary awards are given after the schools have had their annual art shows. This year the High Schools had to cancel their art shows because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, each High School art department chose one graduating senior to receive a $600.00 scholarship from MCAEEF. The MCAEEF committee of the Redlands Art Association was very proud to carry on the traditional awards to provide scholarships to these 5 aspiring artists.”
Congratulations 2020 Senior Scholarship Recipients!
Alexandria Snowhite-Redlands H.S

Burke noted the funding source, The Redlands Classic Film Series, was cancelled this past Spring but the committee felt the need to continue. She thanks the MCAEEF committee, especially Lori Powell and Jeff Owens for their help on these awards.
