Lillian Margo studied fine art at University of California, Riverside. Her work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo shows. She interned as an assistant to the Exhibition Designer at the Californai Museum of Photography, the Barbara and Art Culver Center of the Arts, and The Sweeney Art Gallery. Margo also participated in ArtsBridge and the Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts as an art teacher. As owner of Paloma Heart Works, she now teaches oil painting and mixed media art classes. She makes personal altars, assemblage jewelry, crowns, photographs, paintings, and super 8 films out of her reverance for nature, often employing allegorical narractive or magical realism.
“I make art through the sincerity of my soul
in order to open worlds and paths
of your own discovery and healing.
I make art for your moments of sacred silence,
to give you gentle wings,
to soothe you,
to reflect and frolic with you in the sublime.”
