July 9 – 30: Patty Roth

Show Dates: July 9 to July 30, 2011.

Roth is exhibiting her latest photography on canvas from Myanmar and Morocco as well as framed pieces from around the world.  Patty has digitally enhanced a few to create painterly scenes.  A few framed pieces will show collages, such as one of Myanmar religious art.  Three pieces won awards at both juried shows at the San Diego Fair and the Inland Empire Mini-Multi-Media Show.  Photo cards that can be framed or sent will also be available.  All of Roth’s profits from this show will be donated to Eternal Threads, a group dedicated to improving the lives of women and children in five countries most at risk of poverty, trafficking, and other exploitation.

 

 Roth’s photography focuses on travel to the Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Italy, China, Morocco,Tanzania, India, Israel and Jordan; travel to the Midwest to photograph the Amish and country life; and California life.

 She has studied photography with Michael Seewald in Del Mar.  Roth is a graduate of Indiana University with an A.B. in math (and a minor in art), from Loma Linda University with an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy, and from Trinity College of Graduate Studies with a Ph.D. in Relational Psychology.  She currently has a private practice in Redlands and teaches in the Dept. of Psychiatry at Loma Linda School of Medicine.
