Workshop: “Imaginary Journey-Adventures in Mixed Media, Collage & Text w/ Cindy Rinne
Saturday, February 1st from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Take an adventure into your creative self, using mixed-media and collage. This is your time to play and explore using everyday materials. Experience your art in fresh and new ways.
You are made up of fragments, of life experiences and dreams, like an ongoing diary. Accumulate, collect and reassemble what you choose to transform as you weave insignificant materials into your unique story. Use the power of touch – whether tearing, folding, cutting paper or clustering fabric scraps–to unlock your creative self.
Spontaneous selections of colors, images and words release a space for wonder. Original ideas for future art works may result from this time of discovery as you tap into inner thoughts.
Supplies provided. You are welcome to bring magazines and small treasures.
Workshop Fee: $70 members / $75 non-members
