Happy New Year! The holidays have come and gone, leaving warm memories of good times. 2010 presents us with a whole new year of possibilities, of inspiration, of new forms of creativity.
The gallery was a very busy place over the holidays; actually even bustling, at times. One attendant, who there by himself on a very active pre-Christmas afternoon, said that he had customers lining up to be checked out, and while waiting, kept right on shopping. It was a great day for sales. Kudos go out to all attendants who worked so hard selling our art work over the holidays.
The new year will have several special events to look forward to. In February we will have a Photography show-in-a-show, with a reception planned. Following this, March will bring all the activities surrounding the Multi Media Mini Show, including an Opening Reception and the Awards Reception. April will be the Floral themed show, and our own open house during the Horticultural Society’s Flower Show and Garden Tour. Art in the Park will be in May. Watch the newsletter for specific details regarding all of these events as they come up. And, always, please lend a hand any way you can, to assist in making this year a great one for RAA.
May 2010 be a prosperous and creative year for us all.
