Glazes on Tile for Raku Firing w/ Marijke Terwisscha
Learn about the magnificent glazes and the techniques of applying them, that are used by ceramic artist, Marijke Terwisscha. With Marijke’s guidance,you will experience using her glazes and techniques to create your own individually expressive tile. You will finish your tile by putting it in a raku firing. A great experience awaits all who participate in this workshop.

Mess into Masterpiece w/ Elizabeth Carr
Participants should take 2-3 failed paintings or other artworks to this workshop. Elizabeth will determine what went wrong and make recommendations on how to make them into masterpieces, using collage papers, acrylic paint and a little ink. Also, each student will create a collage of their own. Elizabeth will have a few handouts and give some easy guidelines for analyzing artworks.

Drawings that Sing with Color w/ Abby Cameron
Join Abby and learn to infuse your artwork with color, using colored pencils, pastels and more on Colourfix Paper. You will experience the joy and fun of experimentation and a new look to your drawings, making them SING WITH AMAZING COLOR.
Colourfix Paper will be supplied, as well as colored pencils. You may bring your own pencils if you wish.

Adeola is such a fun and creative lady! She will share her techniques of making unique, copper enameled jewelry and bring the supplies needed (copper, colored glass, tools, kiln, etc.), so students can enjoy making their own.

In this one day workshop, you will learn what all can be done when you combine Found Objects with simple pieces of Flatware. There are many possibilities for art involving Spoons, Forks and Knives.
